HBLT-W-wire er en kapacitice sensor til niveau måling af NH3 kølemiddel i industrielle køleanlæg. Sensoren har et udgangssignal på 4-20 mA, som er proportional med 0 og 100 %. Ved tom beholder afgiver den 4 mA og ved fyldt beholder afgiver den 20 mA. HBLT-W-Wire kan tilpasses i længden til den aktuelle applikation. Sensor elementet består af en 2 mm stålwire samt en teflon slange. Begge dele leveres i en længde af 4 m og kan afkortes med skævbider eller anden tang. HBLT-W-wire kan anvendes i forbindelse med HBLT-C1 controller til styring af pumpe m.m.

Sensoren leveres i en version uden integreret kabel (kaldet HBLT-W-Wire) og en version med kabel til direkte styring af ventiler (benævnt HBSLT-W-Wire).

HBLT-W-Wire - Modvægt med justerbar centerpositionsfjeder

Under turbulente forhold kan modvægten til HBLT-W-Wire leveres som en reservedel med en justerbar centerpositionsfjeder. Den justerbare centerpositionsfjeder leveres med skæremærker, så den kan tilpasses og klippes til efter standrørets diameter.

Applications

When using a level sensor for measuring Ammonia in a compact plate and shell heat exchanger or other systems with turbulent conditions, we have new recommendation based on recent experience:

For Stand-pipes with stable conditions (smooth changes in the level):

• Use a HBLT-Wire or a HBLT-A2 rod-style sensor.

For Stand-pipes with turbulent conditions (a lot of turbulence, cooking, foaming, liquid from the top):

• Use a HBLT-A2 rod-style sensor, or

• Use only a HBLT-Wire sensor when you have it mounted in an inner guide-tube of e.g. DN25 as illustrated. 
The guide-tube will dampen the turbulence and the foaming and you will have a good measurement.

• If the HBLT-Wire sensor is already mounted under these conditions WITHOUT a guide-tube,
do eventually set the filter time function between 60-120 seconds to dampen the signal from the turbulent conditions.

For Alfa Laval U-turn evaporator: Use a HBLT-A2 rod-style sensor.
