The HBOR is a Level Switch designed for automatic oil return in ammonia refrigeration systems. This sensor detects the difference between refrigerant and oil, ensuring that when oil is drained and ammonia surrounds the sensor, the drain valve closes without risking ammonia leaks. It is typically used for oil return and discharge in components such as evaporators, receivers, and oil pots, primarily on the low-pressure side of the system.
- Liquid temperature range: Operate across a temperature range of -30°C to 80°C (-22°F to 176°F).
- Pressure tolerance: Rated for pressures up to 100 bar (1450 psi).
- Power supply: The switch operates on a 24V AC/DC power supply.
- Split design: Simplifies installation and diagnostics; electronic parts can be removed with two screws.
- LED indicators: Features a clear LED indicator to signal when oil is detected.
