Switches

Switches

Level switches are installed horizontally and detects if liquid is present or not. The output can be for a PLC or a relay for direct connection. Our switches are developed for refrigeration systems with high pressures, low temperatures and agressive fluids. We have switches for different liquids and specifications.

Level

Level transmitters and sensors

Level transmitters are installed vertically and measures the liquid level. The output is normally analog 4-20 mA for a PLC. Our transmitters are developed for refrigeration systems with high pressures, low temperatures and agressive fluids. We have transmitters for different liquids and specifications.

Vapor quality

Vapor quality

Vapor quality sensors measures the liquid content in the output from an evaporator. The sensor is used for evaporator control and replaces the superheat control in DX systems. The sensor can also be used for circulation control in pumped systems.

Defrost

Defrost

Defrost and Ice bank sensors can measure an ice layer and be used for control.
Demand Defrost sensor is a unique solution for automatic defrosting of evaporators.
Optimal defrosting results in energy savings and increased freezing capacity.

In an icebank the ice layer can be measured used for control of the cooling.

Safety/Leakage

Safety/Leakage

We have a selection of sensors that detect leakage of refrigerant in different situations:

Gas alarms for ammonia and CO2.
pH sensor for detection of ammonia in water, glycol and other liquids.
CO2 leakage into ammonia in cascade systems.
Compressor protection – detecting liquid in the compressor suction line.
